I had a fantastic view of the straits from my room at The Bulkeley Hotel, and the spacious and comfortable layout made my stay enjoyable. The service was pleasant and helpful, although the breakfast staff seemed disinterested. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the island and Snowdonia, offering lovely views. The hotel room was much bigger than we expected, with a lovely modern bathroom, serviced to a high standard each day despite the short length of our stay. It was described as 'cosy' in size but overall very comfortable. However, the price was very overpriced for what we had.
